We may have heard that multitasking leads to a decline in performance, but a study found that it also damages the brain. Whenever a person does multi-tasking, a part of his brain gets damaged. which influences the level of work in the future. According to a Stanford University study, doing one thing is more productive than multitasking expectations. People who are constantly receiving multiple notifications from multiple channels cannot pay attention to any single notification. The research revealed that people who believe that they are masters of multitasking and can do many things at once efficiently are actually not doing any of their jobs well. This result is based on a comparison of two groups. The scientists involved two groups of multi-tasking and one-taskers. Also learned that multi-tasking reduces work speed. IQ also goes down. Similarly, another study from the University of London found that multi-tasking had the same effect on IQ 52 as marijuana.
